#Comfrey is a nutrient accumulator. This means that it has a deep tap root and can mine minerals and nutrients from deeper than other plants can reach. These minerals are then transferred to the leaves. Not only is it an amazing healing plant it is also and amazing plant for chop and drop mulch and animal fodder. Today I dropped an entire plant in this bed. I then added some biochar and worm casting extract. Then covered it with more soil and mulched with grass clippings. I think the grape and other plants will love it.
