In hindsight this seems like this is the type of thing that they could “pay any amount” earlier when it came to taxes for supporting a local fire department along with a bunch of other infrastructures. This kind of hindsight sucks for them, but live and learn, FAFO. 
“The Gulf of America” name also has no reach beyond the US deciding to use it. Almost all of the Gulf is international waters. It’s not like Drumpf can actually claim it. People forget that dementia patients might say a lot of weird things that do not match reality.
Calling the Gulf of Mexico “The Gulf of America” isn’t as huge a deal as you think. Lots of countries call things by different names and spellings. It’s more about the intention behind it. Kind of like when I call the President-elect Donald Douche.

@homewoodsuites.bsky.social decided their comfy chairs in the suites should be replaced with this. It is factory reset and does nothing. I appreciate they value the Pelleton activity over lazing in a chair, but this seems less than half assed, and the room is $150 more because of it.
