Today I was called a “terrorist” (literally) by a very close family member and it hurt, because I am very fond of that person 💔
Why? For questioning the doctor’s incentive to give my little brother, who is totally healthy and smart, some “preventive headache” pills… 💊 which, of course, have lots of side effects.
My sister, who is herself a doctor, didn’t agree with those pills. I trust her and I know she wants the best for my brother too, that’s why I started asking questions.
When she spoke up, she was even more harshly criticized than me, cause “she is not a neurology specialist” to be questioning the prescription.
We have reached a point where some people don’t question the “experts” at all. Just wanting to have a second specialist opinion was asking too much.
Common sense is lost. Or some of us just lost the “common sense” and we are not common anymore.

Fighting the Big Brother.
Building at White Noise.
I can’t understand why income tax exists if they are going to take as much as they want to take through inflation anyway… It’s just a show. But why? To distract us?
Went to a store to buy a gift … and found something that would look nerdy (but nice) in my office 🦞🤓. I was actually tempted to buy it.
I asked my open claw bot if I should have bought it and the answer was: “If it is a lobster… YES 💯” 🤣

Yesterday I went to a Cursor cafe event to code and also see how other programmers used AI.
I was expecting to learn more about how other devs use it, maybe some more tools, hacks or tricks. What I wasn’t expecting was to come back home so inspired and with my heart melted.
At my table was sitting a 9 year old with his programmer dad. He had been teaching his kid to vibecode and the kid was building a plant vs zombies game 🌻🧟♀️ The kid was very excited and proud about the game and wanted people to try it, so I played! And it was actually good!
The kid laughed a bit when I lost immediately, said I was like his mom, and proudly showed me that he had added an “easy mode” and switched me to that one.
Also, as a “gift” he entered his admin panel and gave me a lot of sunflowers and points to spend 🌻🫶
He presented his game to all the programmers in the place, and was asked if he had plans on what to do next. He said he planned to keep improving his game, but that when he grew up he “would probably build other games too. “ 🥹 …
Vibecoding is inspiring new future programmers, and meeting this one is inspiring me too to keep building.
Playing with OpenClaw today 🦞. I named my agent Bepi, a bot version of pepi 🤖💁🏼♀️. I feel like I’m living in the future…
Talking with a dear friend who works at a big social media app and realizing we both think the other works for the “bad side” of tech.
Funny how, from their point of view, they’re the good guys while surveilling and monitoring millions of people, and somehow I’m the dangerous one for working on private messaging at @White Noise
The world is upside down 🌎🙃
Almost every time I talk about privacy with friends I hear the argument: “I have nothing to hide”…
But at the moment I ask if they’d honestly be ok with their boss or that friend they occassionally talk about behind her back reading their messages, their expression completely changes.
Admit it or not, we all have things to hide, and that doesn’t make us terrible people.
Really liked this post cause it gave me more convincing examples for future discussions. Having things to hide is perfectly fine!
