It’s time to reclaim my sovereignty.
For 28 years, I’ve let a stick of tobacco dictate my schedule, my health, and my finances. I’m tired of the dependence. I’m tired of being owned. The thought of quitting brings a wave of sheer panic, but I can’t let fear rule me anymore.
Today is Day Zero.
One last cigarette, then I destroy the rest.
With a small pension, every Sat counts. It makes no sense to stack for the future while literally burning money in the present. I’d rather invest in my freedom than sponsor my own destruction.
This is my hard reset.
My hands might shake, and my mind might panic, but I am taking control back.
To anyone who has fought this demon and won:
I could use your strength today.
