I'm working on an idea borrowed from economist Judy Shelton to sell government Treasury bonds backed in Bitcoin. She calls them "Treasury Trust Bonds" backed by gold. I don't see why the U.S. couldn't issue them in Bitcoin too.
After reading the bitcoin white paper ๐ again, I am reminded that most of Satoshi's references were from the 1990s. I bet that's when he went to grad school. That is when you know academic literature the best (arguably). Therefore, I think Satoshi is a Gen Xer who was probably born around 1970.
