The more I pray the "Our Father," the more its simplicity and perfection truly resonate. I've learned to appreciate every word more and more, especially the power in its very beginning: "Our Father, who art in heaven..."
This opening immediately speaks of a deeply personal relationship with God. It's a powerful reminder of His availability and understanding, always ready to have our highest good at heart. This realization has shifted my own perspective on my relationships as a father, husband, and leader. Do I extend the same availability and open-heartedness to my loved ones and children that I expect when I approach God? It's a weighty expectation we sometimes fail to meet.
And in this prayer, there's a beautiful truth: for those who accept the Father, we are no longer fatherless. Praying this daily continues to expand my understanding of the Messiah's timeless and beautiful teachings, especially how He ushered in this more personal, intimate relationship with the Father, a perception that may have been taught quite differently before Yeshua
