Been having a difficult time listening to music as of late with all these weird things in the media. This is hard for me because I’d say music is literally injected into my veins on a daily basis. So I’ve done a complete abandonment and overhaul of everyone and everything in my musical selection. I've not been subscribed to a streaming service since December 2024. Packed up all my concert recordings into a hard drive and put it away until further notice. I made it my goal to not go to a concert or musical festival this year. It's complicated 😭 i don't know anyone else who feels this torn about everything music related. I sing everyday, so it feels weird to not want to sing the songs I previously liked. So, it's back to instrumentals, classical music, my subliminals, foreign music I can't understand, and searching the World Wide Web for artists with 10 fans. Maybe I should just make my own music 😂 I mean yeah obviously I still like Led Zeppelin lmfao but I’m gonna stick to the above paragraph for now. Also, isn’t anybody concerned about how some music streaming platforms basically publish what you’re listening to in real time? I mean, I’m not deep into streaming services and whatever the case but I know that’s always been a feature. For example, last.fm has always had that. But as of late, I do know there are some people that use it to track people’s activity.

Wild suggestion and this is probably never going to happen because it makes no sense but put the conference in San Diego. Comic con happens there in July so capacity is there. Nice weather, next to the beach, and Mexico is 30 minutes away. I don’t like Vegas. 😭

Other observations: I drove to Vegas so I stopped at a Steak n Shake location twice. Going to Vegas and going home. This location didn’t have the self service option so your order was taken at the register. I asked the employees what they thought of the new form of payment and just what they thought about it in general cuz I was curious. They seemed generally pleased about it and said it was super simple. One lady was enthusiastic and said, “yeah I get to play with bitcoins!” lol
