I haven’t played video games in like over a decade so I was confused about why there were so many complaints about the story lines in some games being “woke”. My reference to video games is hardcore final fantasy and kingdom hearts and it’s cemented in a VERY SPECIFIC timeline: 1995-2007. I accidentally stumbled upon Assassins Creed Shadows reaction content, so now I understand what people are talking about. I haven’t played enough new games to really see more proof lol. I’m not gonna play the game, but in Assassin Creed’s defense, “nanshoku” was an acceptable practice within 16th century samurai culture. It started within the monastic tradition of that time. 🤣
