Anyone here ever lost some Bitcoin?
Some years ago, I fell for Atrad.io, who were offering massive returns with their arbitrage algorithms. For a while, they were actually good and making everybody (including me) a lot of money. I think it was something like 10% per month.
As things were going great, I put more money in. And left it to compound. After a couple months, I could still retrieve my profits. All was well.
Too good to be true, but it was actually working.
So I put more money in. I think 65K euro total. Untill one day the site was down. No response. No way to get my money out. Nothing.
It was a scam. They took the money and vanished.
I was greedy, and fell for it. I wallowed for a short time, and worked hard to recover.
This is part of being early. Part of being young and stupid. Don’t blame yourself if it happens. Learn and recover. And don’t get scared away from BTC.
