Dumb question time again! So I just downloaded this app from the app store and it just work's. I can send and receive note's which is cool Now am I using someone else's node or relay to do this? Should I be setting up something else to further decentralise Nostr? I mean I've heard that when you use someone else's node to send bitcoin you are giving away ip adress etc. Is this the same?

Wahoo another 100 Sat's, My kid's will thank me one day for Buying them Btc and joining nostr, zap is an amazing way to start feeling like a community. It's nice being able to send Sat's to like minded plebs and actually use a little if my Btc. Great fun

Wow, so I randomly just got sent 50 sats, I guess via the link in my profile. This is actually awesome. Really impressed with how nostr works after seeing messages on twitter saying it was an awful experience. I ignored nostr at first thinking it must be difficult to set up. Turns out it is just downloading an app from the play store and away you go. Nostr and Bitcoin is the future, just Wow!
