Spoke with 2 lawyers last weekend about Bitcoin. One works for the CFTC and the other works for the SEC. They were both so uneducated when it came to Bitcoin, how it differs from crypto, the basics of POW, etc. The one described himself as a Marxist … I did my best and sent them some sats on WoS. We are so early.

I remember spinning the Fold wheel and getting fired up for my daily sats. I still do. But now I post my thoughts to this lovely protocol and people send me zaps. I uncontrollably laughed out loud all alone the first time someone zapped me on here. There’s still a piece of that feeling every time it happens and it never gets old. Thank you guys very much for the support.

FROM THE STANDING DESK OF PHIL If your car has an infotainment system that resembles an iPad, you are short bitcoin. If you have a car at all, you are short bitcoin. If you were fleeced into buying the pico-top of a generational housing / stock / bond market, you are short bitcoin. If your home has chairs in it, you are short bitcoin. And should it be the case that you don’t have any chairs left, then go out to the nearest forest, axe down a tree, build a chair, and then find someone to sell it to so that you can buy bitcoin. We are approaching a day where you can no longer exchange worthless fiat currency for the best money humanity can collectively engineer, so I suggest you act with haste. I’m talking bearer asset here, not a price on a screen - run a node, hold your keys, verify on chain. If you don’t know how to do any of those things then phone a friend. If you don’t have any friends then pay someone in bitcoin to be your friend. Thank you to all those involved in the States for the $31.7T debt spiral. Might as well throw in the $186.9T in Unfunded Liabilities on top of that for good measure. Games afoot, see you in the forest. - P

I feel like there is a chasm in the BTC journey that you eventually encounter and cross. You stop looking at it as a piece of a “balanced portfolio” or trying to compare it to anything else in TradFi. It is simply and obviously the best form of money available today. The fiat system is so irreperably broken that it’s hard to wrap your head around an alternative because your frame of reference is distorted. The rub is that you have to do your homework and shove your chips. A wise man once said, “You can only orange pill yourself.”

AI sounds dope. There’s probably aspects of NFTs that will prove useful. Using mRNA injections to prevent getting cancer will also probably rule. Let’s just fix the money first.

You try to screen record YouTube TV on a Mac and it blacks the screen out. You do it on your iPhone and it works. You post said screen recording on IG and it gets flagged and taken down for original content. Fuck everything about this ^

Why is Elon seemingly such a doofus when it comes to publicly talking about Bitcoin?
