I find ‘the right to pay with cash’ to be stupid. People should be able to trade freely, for whatever they want, and get paid in any form or medium. Of course, it’s nice to stop CBDCs, but the way to stop them is to eliminate the monopoly of legal tender and central banks. Not to force cash.
