Boltz is a non-custodial Bitcoin bridge built to swap between different Bitcoin layers while staying in full control. Support: https://support.boltz.exchange/hc/center
Today we are launching Boltz Pro, a non-custodial way to earn sats with swaps on Boltz ๐Ÿซฐ Tl;dr: users earn sats for swapping in a specific direction based on the current liquidity situation of our wallets. Get started here:๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐Ÿ‘ˆ
โšก๏ธ Channel house cleaning in progress ๐Ÿงน Over the course of the next days, we are: - closing pre-anchor channels - closing stale channels (weeks without activity) - increasing min channel size of our LND to 5 million sats Expect # of public channels to drop significantly. Also, expect us to close channels more regularly from now on and preferably open new channels with our CLN node. Our two nodes: LND: CLN:
Network fees for Rootstock -> Lightning swaps just dropped by 50%. Before: 162 sats, Now: 81 sats ๐Ÿซฐ Spontaneous #Lightning payments with your RBTC balance just got even more accessible ๐Ÿงก Wen integration to allow your users to spend #Bitcoin on the go? @beexowallet @Rabby_io @EdgeWallet image ELI5 of how we did this: we extended our Rootstock swap contract to allow us to claim Rootstock swaps in batches. The more swaps happen in a given time frame, the cheaper it gets. If Rootstock swap volume continues to grow, network fees may drop even more.
We just released Boltz Web App v1.6.0 ๐Ÿ”ฅ Highlights: * add WalletConnect * show error when QR scanning is not supported * update RBTC swap contracts * fix refund file download for non RBTC pairs in Brave For the full rundown check the release notes:
Today, we are launching Rootstock Chain Swaps, completing the fundamentals of our @Rootstock integration ๐Ÿซก In addition to #Lightning, users can now swap the following pairs in an easy, non-custodial manner: RBTC <> BTC RBTC <> L-BTC This dramatically lowers the entry barrier to the Rootstock ecosystem and we are already excited what other use cases will be built with the primitive ๐Ÿ”ฅ For some ideas read our initial launch blog post: image
Announcement: Today we are making Boltz user support safer! ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Due to the dramatic increase of scammers, trying to extract mnemonics from our users via DM, we are discontinuing support via DM on all platforms. While we are keeping channels like Discord and Telegram for public discussions, everything that needs private communication, like inquiring about details of a swap, will only be processed using one of the following two communication channels: 1. Via support chat at boltz.exchange 2. Via email to hi@bol.tz This concretely means that if someone tries to make you communicate via any other communication channel, IT'S A SCAM! โš ๏ธ Your Boltz User Support Squad ๐Ÿงก
This week we pushed out releases with some cool new features: Here is the tl;dr ๐Ÿ‘‡ * 0-amount chain swaps: you can now create chain-to-chain swaps completely without specifying an amount OR when you accidentally sent a different amount from what you specified before, you can now simply accept a new quote instead of having the swap fail ๐Ÿ‘Š * Proof of Payment: there are dispute situations where you'd like to prove to the receiver that your Lightning payment was successful. Luckily, Lightning has a cryptographic Proof of Payment system built in! BUT, so far it hasn't been used widely as there is simply no practicable way to do so. We are trying to change this, by linking successful Boltz Lightning payments to an external neutral tool that does a very simple cryptogrpahic check and verifies that a payment's so-called "preimage", which is released only when a Lightning payment is successful, matches a given invoice. This amazing tool was built by Roy from @Breez โšก๏ธ, we encourage others to check it out: ๐Ÿ‘‰ validate-payment.com ๐Ÿ‘ˆ * add chatwoot support chat integration: our web app now features a live-chat integration for help/customer support ๐Ÿ’ฌ The releases that enabled these features: * *
