I watched the Bills game on live TV which transitioned to 60 minutes . Have not watched the show in years but they had an episode on the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan who is experiencing a mass exodus of young people due the lack of jobs. Their primary income is tourism and hydro power which they export to India. The entire time I was thinking they need to use the excess hydro power to mine Bitcoin and integrate it into the new city there building to create jobs and bring back young people to support their Gross Domestic Product of happiness. Any one know anyone in the mining community that is having conversations with Bhutan on the benefits bitcoin mining could bring to Bhutan?

Debunking debt disaster from RBC Wealth Management. According to this article we have nothing to be concerned about. U.S. debt picture is relatively benign when you add in household and corporate debt. By happy coincidence, the U.S. government can manufacture dollars at the push of a button. The biggest increases are from the global financial crisis and the pandemic. Without those two events, the U.S. debt-to-GDP ratio would likely be around 40 points lower. If the U.S. were to shift to debt reduction, it’s very likely that economic growth—and by extension corporate earnings—would decline, at least in the short term. What does this sound like a bunch of poppycock?

@jack mallers Jack, your patience and respect with Peter was remarkable. He obviously doesn’t understand Bitcoin. Or maybe he does and realizes BTC is a threat to his gold narrative. His idea that gold is physical and Bitcoin is digital and therefore worthless has no merit . All my fiat transactions are digital and my paycheck is digital. If I wanted to exchange my digital fiat for physical currency I could but it would take an act of Congress to withdraw a meaningful amount and many merchants prefer digital payments over cash. Anyway, I enjoy your analysis of BTC because your explanations are simple enough for me to understand. You make Mondays great again with your Money Matters podcast. Enjoy your Dad’s commentary and Dylan’s insights as well.
