One thing many people seem to not mention when talking about #retiring on #Bitcoin is the decreasing purchasing power of your #fiat as time goes on. Factoring that in is essential to your hitting your target. Also, "retiring" implies being older in many languages and is the wrong word IMO. "Financially Independent" can happen at any age.

Every time I spend #Bitcoin, I mentally double the item's #fiat price. Then I think again if I really need to buy it. Doubling the #fiat price mentally makes you aware of the opportunity cost of spending your #Bitcoin. That is the cost of living on a #Bitcoin #Standard. If you still live on a #fiat standard and buying your #Bitcoin you can still do the same exercise. For every unit of your local #fiat you do NOT buy #Bitcoin with, double the #fiat price due to missed opportunity.

The hardest part of living on a #Bitcoin standard is actually selling the #corn 😢 And the worst is when you have to do it for crap #fiat 🤮 As long as you still live on a #fiat standard you can just accumulate your #Bitcoin.
