Don’t mind anyone being a Bitcoin maximalist but when the fuck did these plebs become communists? I think most “contrarian Bitcoiners” are just as full of shit and doing for the follows but there is a point to be made when so called Bitcoiners who have saved up their first 100,000 sats start bitching because someone they don’t like uses Bitcoin. …bunch of commies

Most people don’t have anything interesting to say or choose not to say their interesting thoughts. Why would he expect an influx of that majority into Nostr? We can ask them to talk about non-Bitcoin stuff and they don’t have anything interesting to share. We can’t increase adoption with the laggards first. While it might be a legitimate observation the lurkers aren’t going to get any value from seeing content they don’t care about. Complaining that Nostr isn’t more Twitter than twitter seems meaningless. People will come when they have a reason to take advantage of it.

I can empathize with my wife when I get the wrong thing from the store after discussing what I needed to get. It’s like telling your buddy about Bitcoin and them coming back stating they “stacked some ETH”…

This may not apply to everyone hodler in every situation. I strongly suggest periodically checking and testing your ability to access your stack. For me it’s being able to use my hw wallet to sign a transaction (but not broadcast it) as well as ensure alternative means are accessible for seed phrase retrieval…you know just incase the house burns down. This can keep your sharp and avoid complacency if you need to move coins (our your private keys) in a hurry.
