In the era of Augmented Intelligence, and advanced robotics the notion of state planning for "economic recovery" through its population may become irrelevant (over the very long term, generations). When a state or corporate apparatus is able to "print" substitutions for proof of work domains previously held by human labor, be it physical, mental or creative the less will be required of the incumbent in the context of the system we currently know. The human spirit is not irrelevant, and needed more than ever. More will be required of us to adapt to what's to come, especially our empathy, ability to cooperate, and leadership.
