several years ago, i found myself in a relationship with a covert narcissist. almost immediately, my body began to rebel, manifesting as allergies and various unexplained ailments.
after consulting with two allergists and trying various medications, i was told that i wasn't allergic to any specific foods or environmental factors. it was my dad who finally pointed out that the only significant change in my life was the person i was dating.
as i opened up to my dad about the toxic dynamics of the relationship, he grew furious. he urged me to end things with 'the loser,' even threatening to 'feed him to the pigs' if i didn't. i took his advice to heart.
soon after the breakup, my allergies began to subside, and i started to feel healthy and rejuvenated once again.
the takeaway from this experience is to pay close attention to your body's responses to people and situations. it often serves as an intuitive guide, alerting you to negative energies that can cause you harm. some individuals emit toxic energy, and if you're exposed to it, you may suffer the consequences.

wheel of time is a great show. i wish i read the books before i watched this series.
there are so many jack dorsey clones!
my boyfriend is in the living room listening to a podcast on youtube with terence howard, the actor talking about what sounds like fringe science & physics theories.
he even wrote white papers that he's been trying to get peer-reviewed. the scientific community won't touch it because he doesn't have any credibility or even a degree in the sciences. so instead, he's feeding them to llm's to review them.
it's another day in clown world.
this is getting weird.

my family will only have two breeds of dogs. family rules that can't be broken.
1. boerboel
2. rhodesian ridgeback
the paw prints of our boerboel, nelson, are memorialized in the shed. he didn't care about the fence we put up to keep him away from the wet conctete. we brought him with us from south africa. i miss that grumpy boy.

the internet broke a lot of people. the same broken people look to the internet to fix themselves. you cannot heal in the same place that hurt you.
i wish people worked harder on seeing themselves in a better light
- so that i don't read about their drama on the internet
- so that i don't read all the one size fits all advice
- so that i don't read all the empty comforting words from strangers on the internet so this person can feel better about who they are
i don't know what it's like to be internet famous & get harassed by a random person. what i do know is that i will never run back to the place i was running away from for protection.
i go where i have the most control. that place is me & myself in my ability to ignore, mute & block without the need of pressing any buttons.
i drove past six guys wearing shorts and a t-shirt, each carrying what looks like a 50 lb kettle bell in 30f. good luck to them in whatever they're trying to accomplish.
PSA

you can just move past the chamber that echoes. the exit is that way.
i don't find the need to follow big names like jack or snowden or any of the big names here.
their posts are going to get boosted immediately or eventually later by at least 1 person i follow throughout the day. it's like seeing the same flyer on every post on the street.
