Dragged a dead payphone out of the grave and shocked it back to life. Restored the light in the stand, now it’s proudly glowing like it did in the ’80s. Inside, it’s a Frankenstein mix of analog guts and digital soul making this phone hum again. For the DIYers: the system flow goes Analog POTS module → Grandstream HT801 → Raspberry Pi running the 3CX SBC → 3CX PBX / VoIP grid in the cloud. 3CX is the MVP here. Next up, I’d like to set up a self-hosted PBX, probably on Asterisk. Still need to dig into what the best options are. #retrocomputing #diy #freedomtech #hacker #maker #techpunk #voip #payphone #art

GM. Just doing a bit of repair on my daily carry. Our local community has been hard at work building a Meshtastic network across the city, and it's growing fast! With tons of devices in the mesh and a new MQTT server, we're now connecting cities across the state into one massive mesh! Exciting times ahead! #meshtastic #mesh #decentralize #arkansas #hackers #hacktheplanet #hackthefort
