Made this $25 DIY gadget I learned about while at DEFCON. the Rayhunter, It’s basically a sniffer for fake cell towers and a Stingray/IMSI-catcher detector. It lights up red when something sketchy tries to ping your phone or pull a man-in-the-middle. In other words, if Big Brother (or some wannabe spook) starts fishing for your signal, this little guy gives you a heads up. The project was started by the EFF. Learn more here:
