In past years, they live-streamed the entire event and only interspersed the News Desk during downtime. This year, they are interspersing the News Desk with occasional snippets of the actual conference content.
They have even repeatedly interrupted content sessions with the talking heads news desk.
Why?
They cut off a useful interesting session to return to the useless talking head advertisement.

It's sad that they are only broadcasting one stage, and that is only sporadically, interspersed with the Bitcoin Magazine talking heads commercial.
Yesterday's broadcast quality was surprisingly amateur: there was no sound, low sound, variable sound, lots of dead air, and an extremely low level of broadcast creativity.
The Blackrock Session and the Bitcoin on the Balance Sheet Session were both excellent.
