I hate that I can't unlike or unboost. It's too easy to hit those buttons by accident.

I'm curious why Amethyst doesn't offer the option to request deletion of your note? In the case of Iris it does eventually work after several tries. Just because it can't be reliable isn't a reason to not offer it. Users want it.

Amethyst client sending zaps with Strike now works perfectly. The zap note is publicly visible and everything. I like how for the sender it deducts from USD balance hence there is no annoying capitap sale tax event to keep track of. I'd love it if CashApp worked similarly but there buying and sending sats are two separate events meaning you technically bought and sold BTC? If so this is something CashApp could also improve.

Thinkpad E480 & E490: 32GB, nvme+SATA E14 Gen 1: 16GB, nvme+SATA E14 Gen 2: 32GB, nvme 2242+2280 E14 Gen 3: same as gen 2 Newer models actually get *worse* for the dual redundant disk LN node use case because 2242 nvme drives cost a lot more than common 2280 nvme or 2.5" SATA drives. E580 is the same motherboard as E480, all the above applies to the 15 inch E series.

It's hilarious that the new "subtweets" aren't tweets at all.

Bitcoin doesn't care what we think. Bitcoin works despite what we do. Enemies will insult each other. Enemies can't stop each other. Bitcoin is for enemies.

I highly recommend this tiny PC for LN nodes or home servers. The CPU is an six core beast. It supports up to 64GB RAM and two massive SSD's in a tiny case. eBay Refurbished means it has a 1 year warranty. SSD's are now at all time low prices. $130-150 for quality TLC 2TB models. I like the Crucial MX500 2.5" SATA plus Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2280 nvme. Both fit inside this tiny PC allowing for RAID-1 mirror redundancy. These machines put RPi to shame. image

Could folks please test zapping me? I will temporarily use this custodial service until I figure out how to make my self-sovereign CLN compatible with NIP57. Has anyone figured out how to do it? #[0] #[1]

One feature that I like from Twitter is "Mute Thread". When you don't want your notifications to be demolished by likes, reposts, and replies that option silences the entire thread. That would be very helpful here. #[0] It's a much bigger problem for Amethyst than Iris because of how the latter more effectively condenses notifications.

I found an old 2013-era Ripple shitcoin 29 character secret. It might still contain a balance from the original airdrop. Does anyone know which open source code is safest to import, lookup, and send to an exchange for dumping?
