As a fairly layperson when it comes to Bitcoin and especially it’s upgrades…how should I go about formulating either support/anti-support stance for BIPs? For example, SegWit and Taproot seem like ‘obviously’ good improvements while raising the block limit wouldn’t have seemed a terrible/catastrophic idea to me back when it was trying to be implemented (hindsight is 20/20) but I don’t have the knowledge or skills to review/understand the code and technicalities? #[0]​ #[1]
