im a follower of Jesus. I've been thinking a lot about a chistians relationship with money. Jesus had a lot of warnings about money. bitcoin is a movement and culture based on money. that makes me nervous. and yet bitcoin culture seems to be more open to Jesus than broader culture. @npub18678...2kgq posted about starting to read the Bible for the first time and nostr was stoked about it. @npub10vlh...sp42 is a vocal Christian bitcoiner among many others. I think it's all about time preference. bitcoin makes people think towards the future. followers of Jesus think on an eternal time horizon. the lowest possible time preference. the follower of Jesus realizes that nothing he has is really his but has been entrusted to him by The King. in that framework bitcoin can be a tool to use in building the kingdom of heaven.

just heard @ODELL say on dispatch that if you really mean something you should be using all caps. caps is the equivalent to swearing. Jesus said let your yes be yes and your no be no. caps are fiat.
