Bitcoin and Liberty
Bitcoin people are a noticeably different culture to, well, everyone else. That being said, there are Bitcoiners coming from all walks of life. So, what personality traits are most likely to push a person toward hard money? I'm not talking any the rational arguements for Bitcoin, but rather the personal traits that lead some people to be attracted to those arguements in the first place.
I feel like an idiot, but will someone please tell me how to switch to dark mode in Amethyst? My coffee isn't working yet.
Some days I like to use Iris. Some days I prefer Amethyst. Is nostr feeding a budding personality crisis in me?
Soon enough the terrible decisions of the Central Banks and their partner States will become inescapably obvious to everyone. Once they can no longer live in denial, they'll so throughly panic that the faith-based monetary systems will start to crumble. I think most people currently on nostr realize that. I think that knowledge is at least a part of why many people are here: to help build and be a part of the solution (for whatever their individual reasons). That being said, during the period of panic and the subsequent poor policies that will be inacted to save the irrevocably broken fiat system and the corporate State structure built upon it, it's going to be incredibly important for people to have real life connections with others. At the moment, nostr is way too much fun. But let's not forget to "touch grass" and hang out in the physical space with other human beings. Oh, and plant a garden. And, if you're in a jurisdiction that allows it (or not) spend some quality time at the range. Things might get a little tricky to navigate for awhile. Better to be prepared and have some skills than to be caught without. Okay, that was my serious moment for the day. If you've read this far, thanks for the time. Carry on.
I keep finding myself unsure about what to post. It's taken me a few days to figure out why but I think I've got it: I'm so accustomed to having to bicker and fight on any from of social media post I make that I have forgotten how to just "be" on the internet. I'm working on it. I really don't want to fight here. It's a good kind of weird.
