In this 1-minute video, I outline the process of developing a polygon model and placing it in a realistic environment. The importance of photorealistic 3D assets really struck me. Quixel megascans provide tons of trees, rocks, grasses and more that increase the overall sharpness and visual scope of the image.

This video gives a brief insight into my workflow and the tools I use. When I develop a design, I start with a rough proportion and surface model of a vehicle that gets more and more precise over time. The staging process in the Unreal Engine is similar. First I assemble parts of a city or landscape, into which I then place the vehicle and arrange the shot.

Sunset mood can be simulated with the Ultra Dynamic Sky plugin for UE5. It is a handy replacement for the built-in sky, cloud and sunlight system. It combines all of them, together with atmospheric fog, into one single actor.
