Have you heard one of these podcaster fairy tales? 1. Fix it in post 2. Guests have great mics 3. You don’t need a sound check Or… Guests will grow your audience. Publishing on Tuesday to grow. Just hire an iTunes podcast promoter. The truth… it’s hard. Focus on the fundamentals.

I see this all the time - podcasters focusing on the slight edge and forgetting about the fundamentals. Here’s the hard truth - publishing Tuesday (or any other day) instead of the weekend won’t help grow your audience if the content isn’t great or you are inconsistent with publishing. I know this first-hand. Believe me. Focus on getting the content right and serving your audience before you obsess over things like publishing days.
