Clover is so underrated.

This is the kind of development I prefer: The bottom group is Winchester training ammo that I length-matched off the ogive out of a box of 200 rounds. (The whole box was wildly off as the max spread in length was about 1mm!) The top group is my first group of loads! I'm shocked at how much different the group size is, especially since this is the first batch of rifle ammo I've loaded! This is the data from the shots that I captured on my chronometer: I had some issues with the positioning of the chrono so it didn't capture all the shots. That's fine for now. This is the data from my loads: The spread is a bit frustrating, but, given the group size, I can't complain at all! I'll improve as I go. For reference, this is out of a 16" Faxon lightweight barrel. #reloading #ammo #loaddevelopment #ar15 #556
