This documentary keeps resonating. Digital Amnesia.
One of the insights that keeps buzzing in my head comes from this scene:
"Digital storage is easy — digital preservation is not"
We've built more tech than ever, but we still don't have a way to preserve digital artifacts that can last for generations. My guess is that this just shows how young digital technology still is today.
...or it might be that most of us don't really care how to preserve digital their belongings.

Really fascinating documentary; digital amnesia
I don’t know why, but I missed this documentary when it was broadcasted in 2014.
After 12 years I guess we still don’t know how we should preserve digital artifacts (knowledge) for many generations without middlemans.
