image and all this talk of fugere urbem reminded me of the one who's impossible to forget -- the third pillar of my post-adolescence's divine trinity, alongside thomas bernhard and foster wallace. raduan nassar published two masterpieces and then vanished into the wilderness in 1984, from where he never emerged nor wrote another word. he didn’t need to. gm. bd. pura vida. image #bookstr #madeinbr

image https://annas-archive.gl/slow_download/34659fa17bb29d21160839ac4be9c421/0/0 it's great to know trump now considers me a terrorist for being an anarchist. but I think he and his friends from palantir should be more worried about the post-luddites who stayed behind while I just want some peace in the countryside. tho I wouldn't call them terrorists as well (let alone antifas and black blocs, much respect). rebels, activists, nonconformists would be more precise. anti-establishment. I've read this book somewhere last year, whilst offline. then, on monday, I've watched this interview with brian merchant on 404. I think you'll enjoy both. I've written this piece one year before the book's release. now I'm considering writing another one, inspired by the book: merchant also has a newsletter, btw. one of its kind: #bookstr

unlike 99% of brazilians: I hate football (I support botafogo, one thing has nothing to do with the other). to be honest, I hate 99% of all sports. with two exceptions (and despite my parents' insistence, who enrolled me in nearly everything): boxing (ye, cuz rocky balboa) and basketball (nowadays, also kendo — although: martial art). oscar schmidt was the one who introduced me to the game (magic johnson made me stick with it; jim carroll made me quit [cheers, leo] and turn to literature, drugs, bohemia). a remarkable man who made a 11yo me train six days a week, five hours a day. few. thank you, boss. opening a bottle of whiskey to toast his legacy and drink to the dead. kaddish. have a great weekend, plebs. life is good.
