This is a post from my account on Nostr bridged to X, running entirely through an nsite ServiceWorker on Tenna. No custodians or middleman servers. My phone is the server.
To mirror all Twitter/X posts to Nostr using their new paid API, it would cost $12.5 million dollars per month. I did the math. This is probably why they wanted to shut down Nitter.
I had a dream about this concept last night. So I created it. It's an audio player for CD-ROMs. In the video I eject a real CD from my computer and swap it, then play music from the disk.
I'm sorry to say, but I think Omarchy is going to fail. I got really excited by it. The version I tried was an absolutely dogshit UX at every level. It doesn't "fix everything". It's so bad it feels like a scam. I don't think it can ever become good due to the way it was conceived. They have a team of like 100 people. Me and Chad built a higher functioning OS in a few days by taking a completely different approach. I don't think we can win either because we have no hype. Why does this always happen?
