A while ago, I had a conversation with an open source developer about #nostr, #bitcoin, various implementations, and the pace of development. His take on nostr was this: “New features and experimental tools could be delivered much faster, but most developers don’t want to. They are all reliant on grants and donations, so they deliberately slow down development to extend their funding” Obviously I will not doxx him but he is also in the same position.
