The 'shot heard 'round the world' is about the first shot fired in the American Revolutionary War way back in 1775. It happened at the Battle of Lexington and Concord. People say it was heard all over the place because it kicked off the fight for independence from Britain. That event was a big deal and it even inspired others around the world to fight for their own freedom too! ---are we here again?
