With an MBA from Yale and a rich, 20-year journey of homeschooling four incredible children, my career path took an unexpected yet fulfilling turn into the heart of the Bitcoin universe. It was through my husband's innovative game, HODL UP, that I first stepped into the Bitcoin space, sparking a curiosity that quickly turned into a passionate pursuit. Traveling and engaging with diverse communities unveiled a pressing need: to bring Bitcoin knowledge to more women, to make it accessible, relatable, and empowering. This realization was the birthplace of the Orange Hatter Podcast. Through this platform, I share the untold stories of everyday women—those you meet at the grocery store or live next door. These narratives highlight how Bitcoin provides solutions to real-life problems, embodying the idea that if Bitcoin can be useful to one woman, it could be beneficial to all. My mission is simple yet profound: to demystify Bitcoin for women, showing its practicality and potential to tra

I know many American families who don’t have insurance. When their kids get sick or hurt, their first question isn’t, “Where can I go to get the best care for my baby?” It’s, “How am I going to afford care for my baby?” Meanwhile, those close to the money printer keep promising all kinds of “free” stuff to other people. Can you blame these parents for being angry? At the Orange Hatter reading club, we’re diving into The Hidden Cost of Money by @npub1tm20...lpna to unpack how our monetary system got here and what we might actually do about it. If you’re curious and want to join the conversation with other like-minded people, check out www.orangehatter.com/reading-club Our next meetup is Monday—hope to see you there! Come even if you haven't read the chapter or the first half of the book. image

Many of you who’ve tuned into my podcast interviews have heard me say: if I were still homeschooling, I wouldn’t be here talking with you today. My focus would be entirely on my kids, their education, and their well-being. I started my journey with Free Market Kids and Orange Hatter initiatives only after my kids graduated and my time freed up. But this week was a reminder of those intense parenting days—one of my kids was unwell, and suddenly, my work had to take a back seat. Juggling my work with Orange Hatter and Free Market Kids became quite the challenge. I postponed the reading club several times before finally asking a member to step in as facilitator. My mind just couldn’t stay focused on work while worrying about my child’s health and figuring out how to help them feel better. This week made me realize just how tough it is for working parents, constantly juggling both roles. I was lucky enough, with my husband’s support and our ability to live on one income, to stay home and homeschool. To all of you balancing it day in and day out—I see you, and I’m in awe. It takes resilience, patience, and so much love. You’re appreciated, and your work is nothing short of amazing. Be encouraged; you’re doing something truly impactful every single day. 👏

Highlight from this week’s Orange Hatter reading club discussing Chapter 7 of @npub1tm20...lpna's The Hidden Cost of Money: Our money system affects how politicians act. They often choose to fix short-term problems because the system rewards quick fixes. This creates more rules and takes away our rights and freedom. The people hurt most by this are those living paycheck to paycheck. They feel the struggle and vote for immediate help rather than thinking about long-term effects. This leads to more government control, including limits on how we can spend our money. So, when we vote to ease short-term pain, we unknowingly invite more economic control. Join us next week! Highlight from this week’s orange hatter meeting discussing Chapter 7 of @npub1tm20...lpna 's The Hidden Cost of Money: How can we make sure those in power stay accountable to the people they serve? According to Jörg Guido Hülsmann, a German economist, the trick is to make the government rely on its citizens for money. But since the government can print endless amounts of cash, it doesn't really need us for funds. Because of this, the balance of power has moved away from the people and towards those in charge. Highlight from our discussion of Chapter 6 of The Hidden Cost of Money by @npub1tm20...lpna this week inside the Orange Hatter Reading Club: As professional moms, we’re constantly juggling—careers, kids, and keeping our families secure. But what about the long-term economic future our children will inherit? Here’s the cycle we’re seeing today: ➡️ Government intervention misallocates capital. ➡️ Misallocated capital fuels reckless, unproductive behavior. ➡️ That behavior triggers even more regulation. ➡️ The regulations try to fix the very mess intervention created in the first place. Sound familiar? This cycle of policy-driven problems is shaping the future our kids will face. It’s time to take a step back and understand what’s really going on. Join me and other like-minded moms in our Reading Group, where we dive into these topics and discuss how we can better prepare for the financial world our children will grow up in. Knowledge is power, and together, we can ensure our families are equipped for what lies ahead. 👉 Interested in joining the conversation? 🧡 I just wrapped up an inspiring session with the Orange Hatter Mastermind Group, and I couldn’t wait to share some insights! 🧡 As Bitcoin entrepreneurs, we often find ourselves navigating unique challenges—especially when it comes to balancing our desire for privacy with the need to connect with customers. It can feel like an intense game of cat and mouse! 😅 Tonight, we delved into a topic that resonates deeply: the fears that hold us back from being visible as leaders in our field. The question we posed was, “What would we do if we had no fear?” While each of us had different answers, they all pointed towards one common theme: stepping into the spotlight. ✨ What I truly cherish about our Orange Hatter community is the unwavering support we provide one another. We hold each other accountable as we face these challenges together, empowering one another to embrace visibility and authenticity in our businesses. 🤗 There’s truly no other space like the Bitcoin entrepreneur community. It’s dynamic, exhilarating, and daunting. Who else is ready to step out of the shadows and into their power? Let’s embrace this journey together! 🚀 #orangehatter

🌸 Is Government Intervention Hurting More Than It Helps? Let's Talk About It. At our latest reading club meeting, we dug into Chapter 6 of The Hidden Cost of Money by @npub1tm20...lpna, and wow—did it resonate with our experiences! From zombie companies that survive on government support to how increased regulation burdens businesses, we covered it all. One member shared how she left teaching because administrative layers kept getting in the way of what really mattered—her students. Another member expressed her frustration over a family member’s job at a government-supported company with mediocre work quality, while hard-working entrepreneurs struggle to make their businesses succeed. We were all especially troubled by Bunney’s example of pharmaceutical mergers driving up medicine prices. It left us questioning the ethics of prioritizing profits over people. 💊 If you’ve ever felt frustrated by bureaucracy, government support for failing businesses, or skyrocketing prices in critical industries, you're not alone. Join us in our reading club as we dive deeper into these important issues, share our personal stories, and work together to understand the impact of money on our lives. ✨ Comment below or DM me for details about our next meeting! Let’s discuss how we can build a better future, one chapter at a time. #Money Literacy #WomenEmpowerment

🚀 Tonight in the Orange Hatter Mastermind group, we had an invigorating discussion about benchmarks and milestones. As I listened to everyone share their experiences, I couldn’t help but be transported back to two years ago when @npub19jku...x0q6 and I dove headfirst into the entrepreneurial world with HODL UP, armed with nothing but passion and a whole lot of Bitcoin enthusiasm. Talk about a leap of faith! Our first podcast? A nerve-wracking experience with the wonderful @ODELL and P on the Citadel Dispatch. I still remember feeling feverish for the entire two-hour duration of that interview. I was so nervous that I could feel my heartbeat on my skin. When Matt casually mentioned sending us a live stream link to “retweet,” it was a deer-in-the-headlights moment. Panic shot through me. My heart raced as I exchanged a wide-eyed glance with Scott. Our eyebrows knitted tightly together as we squinted in confusion, thinking, “Retweet?... Retweet... What’s that?” When I finally stood up from my seat, I was so shaky that my legs almost didn’t work. I floated out of Bitcoin Park like I was in a dream. Fast forward 22 months, and we've come a long way from those "green" days. While we’ve learned a ton about Twitter and navigating the niche Bitcoin market, the journey has been anything but straightforward. As we approach our two-year mark, it’s easy to get caught up in what’s left on our ambitious to-do list. But tonight’s discussion reminded me of the importance of looking back at how far we’ve come. I encourage all of you—whether you’re navigating the challenges of parenting, diving into homeschooling, or chasing your entrepreneurial dreams—to pause for a moment. Take a deep breath and appreciate your journey. Celebrate those small victories! Each one is like a stepping stone that fuels our courage to keep moving forward—even if it feels a bit zigzaggy at times. image
