With an MBA from Yale and a rich, 20-year journey of homeschooling four incredible children, my career path took an unexpected yet fulfilling turn into the heart of the Bitcoin universe. It was through my husband's innovative game, HODL UP, that I first stepped into the Bitcoin space, sparking a curiosity that quickly turned into a passionate pursuit. 🔥 Introducing: 10 Reasons Why Orange-Pilling Kids Isn’t About Telling Them About Bitcoin…Yet 🔥 🔐 We all want the next generation to thrive in an ever-changing world. But before we jump into teaching kids about Bitcoin or any other new technology, we need to lay the right foundation. 🤔 Why? Because understanding Bitcoin isn’t just about knowing what it is — it’s about cultivating the internal traits that empower kids to question, explore, and embrace innovative solutions. Over the next 10 days, I’ll be sharing the 10 reasons why orange-pilling kids goes beyond talking about Bitcoin and focuses on building core life skills first. 💥 Let’s dive into the first and most important reason. 💥 REASON 1: IT'S ABOUT BUILDING STRENGTH OF CHARACTER 🛠️ Character is the foundation for everything. Before kids can understand complex concepts like Bitcoin, they need to build inner resilience. We’re talking about traits like honesty, perseverance, and integrity — the pillars of strong character. When children develop strength of character, they: * Embrace challenges rather than shy away from them. * Stay true to their values, even in tough situations. image * Learn to take responsibility for their actions. 💪 Without a strong foundation of character, no amount of knowledge will stick. 💡 Here’s why this matters: Bitcoin, as a decentralized system, represents personal responsibility and self-reliance. Kids with strong character are better equipped to make sense of this system and, more importantly, use it wisely. ✨ It’s about empowering kids to do what’s right, even when it’s hard.✨ And that starts with instilling strength of character from a young age. 🎯 Over to you: What are you doing today to help build the character of the children in your life? How are you teaching resilience, honesty, and responsibility? 💬 Share your thoughts in the comments! Let’s build a generation of strong, empowered kids — Bitcoin will come later. 👇👇 🔜 Stay tuned! Tomorrow, I’ll share Reason 2: Developing Self-Confidence. You don’t want to miss it! #education #characterbuilding #parenting #bitcoin #leadership

💡 Money, Life Energy, and Illusions: What the Orange Hatter Reading Club Discussed 💡 Ever feel like you're putting in all the work, but inflation and taxes are draining your progress? Our reading club is tackling this head-on through The Hidden Cost of Money by @Seb Bunney, and the discussions have been eye-opening. Last night we covered the Forward, Preface, Introduction and Chapter 1. 🎢 One member shared a conversation with her son, who is fully invested in his work, calling it “Disneyland.” He’s pouring all his waking hours into the job, believing the payoff will be financial security. But what he doesn’t realize is that he’s living an illusion. Behind the beautiful facade, inflation is quietly siphoning away his life energy, making it harder for him to ever achieve the security he’s working so hard for. 💸 Another member expressed her growing frustration at how her hard-earned money is being stolen both covertly (through inflation) and overtly (through ever-increasing taxes). She can’t read without feeling the injustice of it all. 🧠 We also touched on the powerful idea that “you can only fix a problem if you know what the problem is.” And here’s a big one: absolutely EVERYTHING is downstream of money. When our purchasing power erodes, what’s really being stolen is our time—the very essence of our life energy. These conversations transform how we see the world, money, and our lives. If you’ve ever felt like you’re spinning your wheels or fighting against forces you can’t quite identify, this space is for you. 🧐 🧐 Join us to go deeper—because reading alone only scratches the surface. Together, we gain greater insights and support each other in applying what we learn. Click on the link below for more details.image

New to Nostr, learning how to use it. Just updated my profile. Looking for other nostr women. About me: With an MBA from Yale and a rich, 20-year journey of homeschooling four incredible children, my career path took an unexpected yet fulfilling turn into the heart of the Bitcoin universe. It was through my husband's innovative game, HODL UP, that I first stepped into the Bitcoin space, sparking a curiosity that quickly turned into a passionate pursuit. Traveling and engaging with diverse communities unveiled a pressing need: to bring Bitcoin knowledge to more women, to make it accessible, relatable, and empowering. This realization was the birthplace of the Orange Hatter Podcast. Through this platform, I share the untold stories of everyday women—those you meet at the grocery store or live next door. These narratives highlight how Bitcoin provides solutions to real-life problems, embodying the idea that if Bitcoin can be useful to one woman, it could be beneficial to all. My mission is simple yet profound: to demystify Bitcoin for women, showing its practicality and potential to transform lives. This ambition drove me to create a weekly online reading club dedicated to studying and sharing Bitcoin knowledge in an intimate, supportive setting. The journey didn't stop there; I established a women's retreat to bring Bitcoin enthusiasts together in person. This retreat is more than an event; it's a sanctuary for rejuvenating the spirit, fostering deep connections, and building lasting friendships among women in the Bitcoin community. Recognizing the entrepreneurial spirit in many women Bitcoiners, I formed a mastermind group. This initiative supports female entrepreneurs in the Bitcoin space, providing a platform for collaboration, growth, and mutual success. My path from a Yale MBA to a pioneer in women's Bitcoin empowerment reflects my belief in continuous learning, the power of community, and the transformative potential of Bitcoin. I am dedicated to making the Bitcoin space more inclusive and accessible, one woman at a time. Join me on this journey to explore how Bitcoin can be not just an investment, but a tool for empowerment and change.
