Game theory won't be about Nation states and institutions stacking
Game theory will be about Nation states and institutions running full nodes for their citizens and customers
Trying to get the people to custody their Bitcoin with them
Whether the plebs take them up or self custody is yet to be seen

Is it more important to be rich or charismatic?
The reason Bitcoin is struggling where AI hasn't is that
In 1990 the Internet displaced libraries and yellow pages, those industries are archaic and too slow to compete.
Whereas Bitcoin is trying to displace traditional finance, but the dollar has the benefit of using the Internet to digitize itself, the fiat in your bank accounts is not physically there, it is similar to Bitcoin, numbers on a screen, it's just that the ledger is mutable and secret, also likely there isn't enough in the pot to pay everyone.
But to the normie, they look similar, numbers on a screen, so why would they take a chance with magic Internet money.
Also the powers that be, and they are the most powerful entities on the planet and in history, the financial dynasties that have controlled the globe for generations are never going to let Bitcoin waltz in and take all the chips off the table.
No, Bitcoin is playing the long game, eventually the fiat debt to gdp will become unmanageable, the people will finally see the scam for what it was all along but probably too late.
So that's why Bitcoin hasn't been given the green pass like AI, because Bitcoin threatens the very people who have the most to lose, and they can masquerade fiat as a digital asset to the normies.
I'm watching a Bitcoin video on YT and on the TV in the background is a news report on African villages taking advantage of cheap electricity from hydro electric to mine Bitcoin.
Every boomer I know is aware of Bitcoin, it's in the fabric of society, it's in our psyche.
The realisation will start to dawn on normies over the next few years, as governments try to print their way out of trouble, the monetary system is just a collective belief.
When the masses start to stop believing, the suddenly happens and who knows what that will look like.
Bitcoin can buy the most expensive watch but it cannot buy time
If #Nostr became a thing and then newcomers like Pubky pop up, are they shitcoins or does Nostr become yahoo

If Coinbase were regulated as a bank and insured user funds up to $100K
That would probably attract A LOT of normiesβbut it would go against A LOT of Bitcoiners.
The crossroads approaches where scalability and sovereignty meet
Throw in nation states, institutions and late majority adoption
We got ourselves a situation
What a time to witness it
