Recently my youtube client stopped working with an um, dummy account, used for partial cookie access. I had to do the ol log in and cookie refresh, to find out that all viewing has been blocked due to age verification where Google is asking me to provide a home address and government id (or selfie upload, or credit card...) Unless y'all got any better ways of seeing YT content I guess they have finally won. For the record. I attempted to create another account with a phone number I own and I again stopped me at watching literally any video without age verification. Tools like Freetube and NewPipe have very limited usability lately for viewing content directly. I might get lucky for 2-3 loads per day if I juggle some VPN settings around. I'm open to ideas, books are cool and all, but I already read plenty and touch enough grass. YT is the only form of online content I have access to worth watching.

We spent all day yesterday drag racing stream locomotives. Will have some poorly taken pictures and videos when I'm done gathering them. 2102 met up with U.P. 4014 (aka Big Boy) In Pittsville PA, for "a once in a lifetime experience" drag race 50 miles back home. 2102 Said "Ill race you with a trailer on." We had 27 fully loaded cars and made a little over than half the horsepower of 4014, but they detached the diesel locos on our way back and sent it. No surprise 4014 blew our doors off, visiting every car we had, more than a couple times. We're pretty sure the railroad wasn't expecting it to happen as smoothly as it did or at all.
