Honestly not sure I'm ever going to build another consumer parts-based workstation ever again. It's always been fun building custom PCs, but price vs stability has gotten so bad imo. For someone that relies on a machine to work 7/365 I've never gotten that from consumer parts. I'll probably still build custom rigs for other purposes, but I think I need to leave my main workstation alone.

Offline is going to be a symbol of the "rich". Those who can afford to be off devices. So many jobs (even blue collar) require interacting with smart phones for the day job.
