We’ve worked this weekend to optimize our website further. Made a lot of visuals smaller for faster loading times. We’ve removed a significant amount of books. We’ll stop selling and distributing the Dutch translated books for @KonsensusN. We’ve done this for quite a few years and over the past year basically shipped books every day. Now the demand for Dutch translated books has skyrocketed, centraal boekhuis, the Dutch central location for bookshops both online and offline are listing the books. With this major achievement of bitcoin books becoming mainstream and accessible everywhere, we’ve reached our goal of easy access to bitcoin education without grift. Before we took over the distribution, bitcoin books would come with shitcoin advertisement. Something we could not accept and we wanted to make sure people would not be scammed into shitcoins buying a bitcoin book. We’ve decided to marginalize our offering further, as managing over 2500 products in stock on a small attic had its logistical challenges. The products that are in high demand will always be available in high stock quantities, as people are used to. As we deliver directly from stock we’ve been the fastest kid on the block with delivering bitcoin products, taking your privacy into account.

We have thousands of bitcoin products in stock. If you just look at the bitaxe project we have 3 bitaxe types: Supra, gamma, gamma silent and gamma hotrod. 5 stand types. Option for adapter yes / no. So you have 4 * 6 * 2 options = 48 variations you can pick from. We’ve developed our own packaging and assembly for @SeedSigner , seedsafe and especially the different types of bitaxes. You could say our hobby to help people with bitcoin related requests has exploded. Therefore we’ve unlisted a few options already for our different bitaxe builds, we had over 100 variations offered which is simply too much in both stock as assembly cost. Finally our seedhammer backup plates have arrived. This SH02 plate is the highest quality you’ve ever found. These were manufactured in EU and it’s above the minimum requirement of 1.4404 or 316L being 1.4571 316L Ti. The detailed readings on the plate quality and enhanced QR readability are on our website. We’re very happy to see that the seedhammer community is growing rapidly and proper multisig setups are becoming a standard! You know what is powerful? If every person can start a webshop with the click of a button. When that is integrated with Nostr that makes a lot of sense. You can even order directly via DM with Nostr. The webshop should not share data with the fiat payment service providers. It should not be hard to have lightning payments in there and you don’t want it to be costly. Everyone is a scammer. Don’t trust verify. How do you know we delete your data? Are we really doing as we say? The interesting thing is, you will trust someone to do as they tell. As you can’t verify everything in life. There’s always a level of trust. What is a major trust factor? Time? Word of mouth? We’re 4,5 years into this bitcoin only endeavor. We’ve had hundreds of hack attempts on our webshop. We’ve seen many competitors come and go. Marketing in general is better with every competitor that has popped up. But can you consistently deliver? Do what you promise? Did you do the investments to deliver from stock? We only sell what we have on our little attic. We ship when we receive the order. We manually type the order as a personal shipment, so your data is not linked to an account or “hackable”. We’ve had people come help with our little webshop operation and say it’s inefficient. “You can’t scale to thousands of orders a day like this”. “People don’t care about their privacy, so why would you? You have to make it easy for yourself” People think too big. It’s not about being a large company. It’s about bringing bitcoin further, helping people have products that bring them further in their bitcoin journey. It’s about continuously delivering what we promise. It’s about trust. Just received a call by customs. They were searching for the 100x OSMU donation in the package. They couldn’t find it. They asked me in Dutch what this $5,- osmu donation was. I explained it was a donation and no product was there to be found in the box. Hope we don’t have too many broken bitaxes this time….
