As men, we need to encourage other men to be open and honest about thier mental health. It is our responsibility and no one else's #menshealth #mentalhealth

Choosing to ignore your mental health, choosing to suppress it, does not make you stronger. It only puts unnecessary weight on your shoulders. #mentalhealth #men

When I say I'm an anarchist people often think I'm exaggerating or being facetious. I'm not. I'm serious. 😐 #anarchy #anarchist

I've always thought that leprechauns and all the silly shit surrounding St Patrick's Day seemed a bit ethnically prejudiced at worst and pejorative at best.

Since I havent done any #vexillology facts in a long time, here goes! The flag of Ireland: This flag was first presented as a gift to Thomas Meagher in 1848 from a group of French women sympathetic to Irish nationalism. It was intended to symbolize the Irish people as a whole, both Catholic and Protestant, with the green representing Catholics, the orange representing Protestants, and the white between them representing the peace that was (and still is) hoped for. It wasn't until the Easter Rising in 1916 that this banner was seen as the national flag of Ireland, and was "officially" recognized as the flag of the Irish Republic in 1919, the Irish Free State in 1922, and the Republic of Ireland in 1937. image #Ireland #Irish #flag

Supporting women-owned businesses doesn't mean patting big corporations on the back for symbolically promoting a woman to CEO or president in order to look good. It means actively choosing to buy from small businesses started, owned, and operated by women, rather than going with the easy-to-find corporate option.

Government doing something for "public safety" or "national security" is the equivalent of the abusive partner saying "I only do this cuz I love you"

They used to call it "treason", then they called it "sedition", now they call it "misinformation". But what it has always been is RESISTANCE

Imprisoning political opponents, shutting down newspapers, immensely expanding the powers of the chief executive, arresting anyone who spoke out against or criticized the current govt actions/policies, arresting people and holding them indefinitely without trial. These are actions of a dictator. These are also actions of Abraham Lincoln.
