My low time preference is hard to swallow some days when I just feel I want more money to spend now, and when I’m missing the little home near the beach we sold last year. I keep reminding myself to feel it, and realise one day I’ll look back at this and laugh to myself, that I ever spent even one moment feeling sorry for myself. I’m lucky. So are you.

I did a lot of stressing and research before taking the Homeschooling leap. I purchased and downloaded lots of different curriculums I’d seen shared in community and individual posts mainly on Instagram and FB. They were hit and miss as one was for English another for math and science. Then a mum told me about Euka - they offer the Australian curriculum done from home. Your student can do their work on the computer or on paper, or a combo of both. It seemed like a lot of work to tackle as a family but now we pump out the entire thing in about 2 hours but my man is efficient so they do 1-3 hours 4 or 5 days a week and they are pumping through it. My son is currently about a term ahead of his friends who are attending a school, doing the same work. The biggest PRO for homeschooling , apart from the quality time you get from being together plus all the time you can save driving to and from school and not having to rush in the mornings, is definitely the flexibility that he can do it from anywhere. Amazing feeling! We can travel and go wherever we want and he doesn’t’ ‘fall behind.’ We want to make sure our kid can go back to school with his mates at anytime, in case he decides he wants that. CONS: We had to find work that allows us to be at home with him. Luckily we no longer need to work full time or that would have been a challenge as we have to juggle the hours of homeschooling plus jobs as needed. If you’re pulled to homeschooling I encourage you to take the leap because school will be there for you to go back too. It Cld be the best thing for your kid. My son felt stupid and slow and bored before we pulled him out. Now he feels free. Happy to answer any question’s you have. #homeschooling #freedom

Ive always been a Therapist with a little edge… I am prepared to call out your blind spots. Because that’s where the gold is. This has been a powerful support for some of my clients, and others have had trouble with it. They only want to focus on the other, not themselves. This never works because unless WE start showing up differently, nothing changes. People can change, and not everyone does. I see this from the frontline. Plus change is most often a gradual process over time, not usually instantaneous though that occurs too, often triggered by powerful experiences in life including accidents, illnesses. I’ve seen people go from “I don’t love myself. I don’t even like myself. My life is horrible.” to “I really trust who I am and how I feel. My life is getting better and better.” And guess what, same person , same life. But now, with more connection to self and more appreciation of self and from working with me, new strategies and awareness’s of their personality, beliefs and responses to life that that they never understood before. Here’s something I know for sure from my POW: All parts of us are living in service of us, even the limiting, stuck parts and the parts that derail us and seemingly sabotage us from our best life. There are programs that play out in our system of self that are trying to support us. Just know that even if it doesn’t seem like it, you really are trying to have your own back. And sometimes it’s just a matter up seeing yourself with fresh new eyes, and being ready to do some things differently. You don’t have to be a new person, you just need to be willing to take responsibility for who you are. And work out words from there. I imagine a lot of you reading this go just that. #therapist #tips #beingyou

It’s happening… I started dreaming about my future purchases like a home, in terms of deflationary BTC. “How many years will it take for me to buy the house I want for a small (tiny) portion of my stack?” Fiat is slowly leaving my 🧠 Thank you @Jeff Booth #Amen image

I salute you - for being able to hold a new reality. Anytime we shift in how we see the world - and ourselves - we bring with it a myriad of emotions like confusion, excitement, fear, anxiety, joy, loneliness, relief and even grief. It is a challenging path, to accept something new into your being. Because it impacts how we show up in the world. And ultimately, what we choose for ourselves. A few years ago I thought I’d grow old in my over priced tiny home; that my son would journey the school years & graduate with his classmates who he started with in kindy; that I would keep the same exact group of friends; and that I would be passionately growing my therapy /coaching practice. None of those things are true for me now. We homeschool, we slow travel & I’ve closed my books for now, to take a sabbatical. Taking on a new belief | truth understanding | reality | is a guaranteed ticket to change. It takes a certain kind of internal strength to accept the flow on effect and to embrace it. Pat yourself on the back, as this in itself is no easy feat. How different is your life looking & feeling right now than before you’d discovered the Global Free Market? #change #livinginprocess #courage #futureproof This pic I took of a day walk along fire trails in Lake Munmorah Park, Central Coast NSW Australia #FreeGlobalMarjet image
