We’re not ready for Bitcoin yet. And that’s okay. We know that already. Yesterday, still half-asleep from vacation, I went grocery shopping and as usual, I wanted to pay in Bitcoin. I get my Bitrefill gift card while standing inside the supermarket, feeling proud and ready. Everything goes smooth… until PANIC. Power goes out in the info office (the one that exchange the Bitrefill code with the physical gift cards), the computer won’t start, the staff starts freaking out. I quietly put the frozen stuff back so it doesn’t melt. I keep shopping. 30 minutes go by. I go back to the desk... still broken.Another 30 minutes. Nothing. I’m there, half zen (half not), thinking: why the f*** do I even bother? In the end… I paid in euros. 🙃 Bitcoin is perfect. Everything around it? Often not. Fragile infrastructure, outdated systems, people who lose it the second something goes off-script. Same old story with every new technology: the invention works great, it’s the world around it that lags behind. And still, we keep going. Because we know where we’re headed. And every time it feels “too complicated” or like “you’re not ready,” remind yourself: it’s not you. It's not Bitcoin. It’s the world that has to catch up.

To this pre-modern era where everything was in its place. That Bitcoin is 'anti-system' in the worst possible way. Wake up. We’re not going back. The world is in constant motion. Evolution doesn’t hit rewind. There’s nothing in the past that works better than a technology that lets you send and own your money, anywhere in the world, without asking permission. Innovation is inevitable. And those clinging to the past are only doing it because they’re terrified of losing the power they’ve built in the present. But. Bitcoin isn’t a culture war. It’s not woke. It’s not conservative. It’s a protocol. An opportunity. A tool. While they argue on podcasts about who’s ideologically pure, out here people are sending money, saving it, working, surviving, thriving. In the most unpredictable ways. They’re the ones changing the world. And if you don’t see it, it’s not because you’re ahead, it’s because you’re already left behind. You're old stuff, you're gone. Bitcoin is progress. the internet is progress. Technology doesn’t exist to keep you comfortable, it exists to shake you out of your seat. Bitcoin won’t take us back. Fuck the cult of the past. Fuck your obsession with control over people, over ideas, even over how Bitcoin 'should' be used. And if you’re not scared of Bitcoin yet, you haven’t understood what uncensorable money actually unlocks. It’s still early. But those who get it are already moving. Bitcoin is digital freedom. And Bitcoin doesn’t care what you think.
