Haven’t been this discouraged ever in my bitcoin journey. Going to work on trying to get this node issue fixed again today but holy fuck this is frustrating. Has anyone else experienced a corrupted peers.dat file on a weekly basis? Obviously doing something wrong but having a hard time figuring it out..

My umbrel bitcoin node gets corrupted less than a week after I manually fix my corrupted peers.dat file. Every. Single. Time. I keep going in circles. Manually fixing the peers.dat via SSH. What can I do to fix this? Any ideas as to why my node cannot stay functional for more than a few days?

My coworkers are now talking about the US dollar collapse… happened faster than I expected

Bitcoin node attempt 1 was an epic fail…. Wifi kept crashing. Shut down my node and wifi problem is gone. Feelsbadman.jpeg Peers.dat file gets corrupted weekly. Thinking it’s a hardware issue 🤷‍♂️

Node is consistently not functioning due to a corrupted peers.dat file. Managed to fixed via ssh the first few times but wasn’t able to ssh this last time. Thinking my raspberry pi may be messed up from losing power too many times? At the point where I’m considering buying new hardware and starting over from scratch 🤷‍♂️

The people of Iran are living under an authoritarian regime as well as visions US sanctions preventing families from sending money to and from each other. Insane citizen tracking via bank accounts makes it extremely unsafe to move money in any way other than converting it to paper notes. #bitcoin does not fix this. And more plebs should be talking about that. These are the people who need btc the most. And the regime has very effectively established roadblocks that make it extremely risky to send/receive sats.
