Working on a piece regarding the split in the FOSS community and comparing it to Bitcoin and Crypto. The ethical versus technical camps in FOSS ended up with Opensource ultimately winning with the tussel with respect to the adoption of Opensource licences and the introduction of the GPL3 further widened the chasms between these communities.
