I conducted this experiment myself (blog post below), and confirmed that—along with countless other people from all over the world who've also tested and shared their results online—the moonlight is COLDER than the shade. Of course, 90% of people will hear this information and go into instant narrative defense mode, since this destroys everything they were taught about the moon in school, and how its light is "reflected sunlight" A few critical-thinkers, however, will take the initiative to go do this test themselves, and witness the results with their own two eyes rather than let NASA tell them what to think.
