Been thinking about this lately. The older I get and more life I experience the more clear this thought becomes. **Most of what we love about living in America is thanks to the cultural consequences of the Christian faith.** Not *Democracy*, not the *Constitution*, not *Capitalism*. The crumbling that we see around us at its root is caused by a massive turn away from God, our faith, and our traditions. Families are the next layer and the destruction of the family is predicated by the obsession with self. The idolization of our own wisdom, knowledge, and desires over the humble realization that God's riches are far greater than any carnal pleasure we might desire. As C.S. Lewis wrote > "It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased." ― C.S. Lewis, The Weight of Glory, and Other Addresses I think more and more people are seeing these things, counting the cost, and returning to faith and tradition. As followers of Jesus it is not a time to be discouraged but rather look up to our hope and be beacons of truth and love.

Just occured to me that more people are offended by fake writing and content inflation (AI Slop) than monetary inflation. If you disagree I'd recommend you talk to more normies.

When you have a bad day because you feel dumb. Just realize there are people who think bitcoin is only worth 109k... You could be dumber.

What I see 99% of time in Bitcoin culture is ego. It's not logic. There are a few exceptions but most of the arguments and disagreements are mostly proud men with huge egos wanting to be right. There are exceptions but over and over again these beefs come down to ego, not problem solving and arriving at consensus.
