The other day during dinner in the middle of an intense debate over how much we value bitcoin, the non bitcoiner challenged me.. "if you trust so much in bitcoin, why do you have a house? why didn't you sell the house and buy more bitcoin instead"?
My answer was: you are trying to prove with that that I don't trust that much in bitcoin but I'll tell you that the question is different. My choice was to have my house and decided not to buy many more and keep bitcoin instead...
hold my beer.
I had dinner yesterday with a group of neighbours.. and in front of me there is one that I've never met before who happened to have been into bitcoin since early 2011... but despite that he was not interested in Bitcoin at all.. only telling me that bitcoin can be killed by a government, by quantum computing, and that yes the blockchain was interesting but the monetary properties irrelevant.
long debate over dinner...
Spent few days working at nostr:npub1rujdpkd8mwezrvpqd2rx2zphfaztqrtsfg6w3vdnljdghs2q8qrqtt9u68 and you feel bitcoin everywhere there
Starting from the fact that you pay your spot using lightning .. and then we all have lunch together debating politics, ideas, liberty and bitcoin
Amazing few days
