I was just arguing with some friends about this “ultrasound” argument most Ethereans are using that I think it completely misses the point Bitcoin is not sound money only because it tends to 0 emission. It’s sound because you have total certainty that that will happen no matter what. If we all start competing with now deflationary scheduled then there will always be another coin that is even more deflationary that will claim another name Imagine BSC now claiming that they are even better than ETH? Yes most ethereans will argue that it’s not just about emission and that’s the point where I also expect they realize that there is only one “sound money”

How long until we start receiving “Ads” as a badge that is sent to thousands of active addresses?… im sure people would start spamming badges so maybe there is a way to prevent that?

I was thinking about badges vs Poaps as I had immediately related the two.. but there are some differences that are worth mentioning: - badges is a protocol. it's not owned by anybody .. there is a badges.page but that has no control.. you can create with other clients any badge and that's fine - are permissionless... as anybody can create a badge - are non transferrable. it's not a token.. it's something that the owner signed as sent to you so you can't change that and you can't transfer to someone else as that wouldn't contain the creator's valid signature..
