I just got caught guerilla planting tomatoes in a dirt pile on a vacant lot. Dude was giving me a serious glare until he realized I was the crazy plant guy who had been giving away seedlings. After that, he was more than happy to let me get on with the fertilizing. 10 minutes later I was given a freshly packed bowl as we chatted. When I was walking away, I heard him say to his wife "See! You got to meet him!" Seems I'm making a name for myself in the neighborhood.

Today's Community Share 24 bell pepper plants, 16.8kg produce expected. These guys suffered the worst of my learning process, so they are a bit retarded (in the scholarly sense), but should still provide many fajitas worth of peppers. This will probably be the last batch of peppers though, they don't contribute an awful lot to my one ton goal 😂 Project Total: 57 tomato (342 kg) 49 peppers (54.3 kg) 10 herbs 396.3 kg of food production added to the community. 39% of 1 ton goal
